When completing my Annotated Bibliography, I realized that I do not use enough brain breaks or break during the day. The breaks are shown to be essential to students and their academic focus needed for school. Students have a hard time staying focused, especially right before school breaks and right before school gets out. When the weather starts to get nice the students start to get restless being stuck inside focusing on academics. I learned this through reading many articles that have been written based on this topic. Once I get into my own classroom, I would like to try and incorporate more brain breaks for my students to help them stay focused on the class activity being done.
