Artifact 4d: Participating in a Professional Community
This picture shows the opportunity that I was given to participate in the morning program that they have set up at the school. This program is designed to help those students who need extra help in reading. I was given the opportunity to help with the first grade group of students that were participating in this program. The program runs in the morning before school, starts at 7:20 in the morning and runs Monday-Thursday. This program start in the spring and run for about 2 months. |
Artifact 4b: Maintaining Accurate Records
The image below shows the grades that I record every Friday after I grade spelling. The spelling that I am grading are from the workshop group that I work with every day. Once the grades are recorded on this sheet, I record some of them on another sheet that the lead teacher has for just her classes spelling grades. My lead teacher then inputs them into her grade book on the computer.

Artifact 4c: Community with Families
This is a field trip that I designed for the elementary student teachers that are part of my internship year. This field trip was designed to show ways that you could take your students out into the community without it costing money. As teachers it is hard to think about ways that you could take your students on field trips without it costing little to no money. The field trips I saw during the two days we did this class, showed me many ways that I could take my students on field trips that are in the community.
This field trip that I designed was designed to be used with a classroom of students and their families. The files below are all the parts for the field trip that was designed.
